A low mileage day because I wanted to stop half way and look around Magdeburg.
Magdeburg Cathedral - 13th Century
Magdeburg Reiter - an equestrian sculpture in front of the town hall dating from 1240. This one is a copy - the original in in the local museum. But still, this statue has been present in this location for over 780 years!! Remarkable.
Grune Zitdelle von Magdeburg - pink building with wavy lines. Really reminds me of Gaudi's architectural work in Barcelona.
