Day 7 Barby

 49 miles to Barby

Woo hoo!  A day under 50 miles.  Again, I do this every time, I plan too many miles per day for the first 10 - 14 days.  It takes a little time getting all the body parts used to riding that far day after day.  But gradually it becomes less of a chore and more enjoyable.  The weather also hasn't helped.  Everyone says the summer here was extremely hot and very dry.  Of course I have not had a day yet when it did not rain at some point during the ride.  The sun has to come out at some point!!

Nothing eventful on today's ride but I did get a few pictures.  It was overcast and chilly today but the bike path was beautiful.  Spent a lot of time in forested areas today.

Had my first ferry ride across the river today.  1.5 euros.
That's my tent way back under the trees.  I was the only one at this campground!!  The owner said today was their last day of the season.  Made it just in time!
