I did a self guided Rick Steves audio tour of Prague today. It was interesting and informative. I will definitely look for more of his audio tours for other stops on my ride.
Wenceslas Square. Over 300,000 people gathered here in 1989 to declare their independence from Soviet Russia.
An art nouveau stained glass window from the 1930's advertising a now defunct radio manufacturer.
The Powder Tower. So called because it used to store gun powder. It is also the only remaining section of the original wall that surrounded Prague. Constructed over 500 years ago.
The Municipal House. Prague has some of the best Art Nouveau architecture in Europe. This building is gorgeous outside, and maybe even more so inside. The interior contains Prague's largest concert hall, a cafe, and several restaurants.
